WALTER M. COLLERAN-(1912-1998)

WALTER M. COLLERAN, now deceased, was engaged in the private practice of law for thirty years, specializing in labor law and the administration of Trust Funds in the private and public sector. Before he became a member of the firm in 1965, Mr. Colleran was formerly Assistant Industrial Commissioner in the New York State Department of Labor and was a past member of the War Labor Board and the National Wage Stabilization Board.


Mr. Colleran was a graduate of Manhattan College and Fordham Law School, and was admitted to practice in 1936. Among his many representations, Mr. Colleran served as General Counsel to the Office and Professional Employees International Union, AFL-CIO from the organization’s inception until his retirement in 1979.
